2. Use of Website

• You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian to use this website.
• You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose.
• We reserve the right to modify or withdraw access to the website at any time without notice.

3. Bookings and Payments

• All bookings made through our website are subject to availability.
• Sessions are typically 1 hour and 30 minutes to minimise crowding and keep children safe.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse bookings at our discretion.
• Payment is required at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Payment is non-refundable; however, sessions can be rescheduled subject to availability.

4. Party Bookings

The following terms apply to private party bookings, in addition to the general booking terms above.

• Parties must be booked at least three weeks in advance. This gives us time to prepare the space, food and party bags.
• A party booking gives you exclusive use of the play space for the duration shown on your chosen package. The cafe is closed to other customers for that period.
• A deposit of 25% of the total party price is payable at the time of booking. Your date and time are not held until the deposit has been paid.
• The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your party, for any reason and at any time, the deposit will not be returned.
• The remaining balance is due no later than seven days before the date of the party. You can pay it online from your account.
• If the balance has not been paid by the due date, we may cancel the booking and release the date to other customers. The deposit is not refunded in these circumstances.
• Each package covers a maximum number of children, shown on the package. Where a package allows additional children, they are charged at the per-child rate shown at the time of booking.
• Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. We aim to accommodate them but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, as set out in section 6 below.
• Requests to change the date or time of a party are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us as early as possible.
• If we have to cancel your party for reasons within our control, we will refund everything you have paid, including the deposit.

5. Health and Safety

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while at Bears Play Cafe.
• By using the climbing wall, slide, and play equipment, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of physical activity.
• Bears Play Cafe shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while using the play equipment, except where caused by our proven negligence. We are not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to follow our rules.
• Only children within the designated age, height, and weight limits (as stated at the premises) may use the climbing equipment, slide, and foam pit.
• No pushing, rough play, or unsafe behaviour is permitted on or around the climbing wall and slide.
• You agree to follow all safety rules displayed in the cafe and on the website.

6. Food and Allergies

• We aim to provide accurate allergen information; however, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
• Customers must inform staff of any allergies before ordering.

7. Photography

You may take photos during your visit of your own child. Please ensure that any photographs or videos you take do not include other children without their parent’s or carer’s consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bears Play Cafe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, services, or facilities.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
